The House Clearance London company talk about reptiles in Gatorland…………
Compulsive hoarding normally involves people collecting huge amounts of materials which other people would consider to be junk. This can consist of vast piles of newspapers, old cans and other items which many others would not hesitate to throw away.
But there is another type of hoarding which is more serious, and it involves the hoarding of animals.
When an animal hoarding case is discovered, the most typical animals to be found are dogs, cats, rabbits and other standard household pets.
However, sometimes less-common animals can be found in the collection, as was the case in Arizona recently where a hoarder was found to be hoarding away a large collection of reptiles.
The case came to light when it was featured on a popular show on Animal Planet. The person had stored away snakes and reptiles, but they were not able to get the care which they required, so they were taken to safety.
After a 2,500-mile journey, the reptiles, consisting of four huge pythons and some alligators, arrived in Orlando where the Phoenix Herpetological Society traded them with Gatorland for four crocodiles.
The largest snake to be transported to the new home was a Tiger Reticulated Python which measured over 18 feet, and Gatorland has confirmed that it is now the largest snake that it has.
The animals are all going through the quarantine process now, and once they have completed it they will live in their new home and receive the proper care which they need.
