The 116-acre garden was in a wild state because it had been neglected for so many years and was described it as a “jungle”, but since the new owners took on the mighty task of clearing up the garden, they have discovered that under the moss and brambles lay hidden paths, a stream, a walkway, a bridge, old mill stones, apple presses and other original features that had been lost over the decades.And that’s on top of the fantastic views they have created from cutting down some of the trees. Now they plan to hold open days so the community can enjoy the garden in its full glory once again.
